Harry Styles is an English singer, songwriter, and actor. His musical career began in 2010 as a solo contestant on the British music competition show The X Factor. It's from The X Factor that he became part of the heartthrob boyband, One Direction.

One Direction, aka 1D, formed in 2010 and consisted of 5 members. They were Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Liam Payne. However, after 5 albums, multiple hits, and countless records broken, in March 2015, Malik left the group. Only 5 months after in August 2015, the band decided to take an indefinite hiatus. Everyone in the band has now taken on solo careers, including Styles.
